Putnam County Imagination Library

Tennessee Rural Development Fund is blessed to partner with the Putnam County Imagination Library. The Putnam County Imagination Library began in March 2005 with the help of the Putnam County Library and the Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency.

The Imagination Library’s goal is to see that every preschool child in Putnam County receives one free book per month from birth to their fifth birthday. The Imagination Library believes that when parents or caregivers read to children, families are strengthened, doors are opened, and possibilities are endless.
